Chevy blazer driver side window problems.
Power window problem of the 2003 chevrolet trailblazer 21.
97 chevy blazer driver s side electric window went down 1 2 way.
It ll go up to about an inch or two from the top.
We looked at the fuse relay which is on the left hand side of the drivers area.
The rely fuse is a silver rectangle two prong fuse.
It won t go all the way to the top.
A door window may move slowly or stop in mid travel due to a failing power window motor.
Sometimes in the early mornings and not in the evenings.
Replacing the faulty window motor will commonly correct this concern.
It will either be a problem with the switch or with the regulator motor.
Both drivers side and passenger side windows will not go down.
Switch was replaced with two used parts but that wasn t the problem.
If it s the switch it could partially work or not at all.
I have a 2006 chevy trailblazer.
I have to actually hold the button down for the window to stay down.
The most recent is that the driver s side power window seems to be off track.
Its a pain at the drive thru.

The affected window may start working again after the motor cools off.
Is it making any noise at all when you push the button.
In the process it tips forward a bit.
If it is making noises then you probably have a broken window regulator.
Now won t go up or down but all other windows work.
Driver side window will work when it wants.
I know i probably need a new motor or regulator but i was wondering if there s anyway i can manually pull the window up instead of leaving it down for the time being.
When i roll my windows down from the driver side controller the windows come right back up.
And i can pull it up to within a quarter inch but sometimes it slips back down.
I opened the window module and found that the driver s side power window switch was burned.
Now it won t work at all.
Usually if it s the motor it will overheat and stop working partially roll down and stop then after a while it will work again and move the window another inch or two.
When he turns the key on it gets very hot.
It s stuck in the down position.
I tried to buy the window module via online and found that there is an investigation going on by nhtsa.
